SEAN’S 80 SERIES
Sean’s 80 Series is a great-looking setup, sitting on 37-inch BFGoodrich KM3s which very nearly hide the two-inch body lift and 3-inch EFS coil springs along with Tough Dog big bore shocks. Under the bonnet it has had an engine swap with an 1hd-t now sitting in place. Bolted on to it is a Garrett GT2860rs running 26psi. To help it breathe it has a stunning Patrol Docta through-bonnet snorkel. To ensure traction isn’t an issue the diffs have both been fully rebuilt with twin Harrop ELockers fitted. In terms of looks, the 80 Series stands out with an Xrox front bar, custom sliders and rear bar, with an ARB roof rack to top it off. The 80 has also been fitted with custom rear draws, BA Falcon seats and a Viair compressor with a three-gallon tank. Sean your 80 Series looks unstoppable; we can’t wait to see what you do to it next.

KRIS’ JK WRANGLER
Kris picked up his 2011 JK shorty as a stock mall crawler about five years ago and has quickly transformed it into a rugged off-road weapon. He started by getting front and rear bars from Uneek 4X4, wanting to support Australian manufacturing. To give the JK its impressive stance, he’s fitted it with a three-inch lift courtesy of Synergy Springs and Fox Shocks. To assist with the large lift, he’s added a few Synergy steering upgrades to sort out the wandering Jeep, and also fitted a custom Tom Wood’s driveshaft to cope with the lift. To ensure traction doesn’t become an issue Kris has fitted the Jeep with 33-inch BFGoodrich KM3s, and to make sure the rear door can hold the added weight of the 33 he has added a Teraflex HD hinge. While Kris is loving the JK he still has a few more modifications to make it a bit more liveable. Currently he loves attacking his local tracks of Toolangi, Kinglake and Marysville, which has great range of track difficulties.

KAT’S RANGER RAPTOR
The Ranger Raptor has been widely teased for its small-ish engine, however, that is from those who haven’t driven one. According to owner Kat, before you pass judgement go drive one, and we’d have to agree. Kat bought her Raptor in 2018 and has been loving it ever since. Having previously owned a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited she loves the ability of it as well as the impressive 10-speed automatic transmission. While it goes everywhere she wants, moving forward Kat will be looking at changing the tyres, having not been impressed with the BFG KO2s. The Raptor will also be getting a tyre pressure monitoring system; after she was shocked such an off-road oriented vehicle didn’t have one fitted from standard. Kat, it’s great to see a Raptor hitting the tracks.

NATHAN’S PJ RANGER
The Ranger is now the most popular 4X4 sold in Australia, however Nathan got in before it was popular with his 2008 PJ Ranger. When you first look at it what strikes you is the stunning rear end, a custom-built tray and setup, created after some long hours at home in the shed. Up front, Nathan has fitted an ARB Safari bull bar along with brush bars and side steps to protect the clean black paintwork (good luck keeping it clean - ed). To get the Ranger riding better he’s fitted Dobinsons 4X4 full lift kit with HD torsions and 420kg overload springs to cope with the added weight. Understanding the issues that come along with lifting your 4X4, Nathan has fitted new CV shafts to suit it. To make sure the Ranger can conquer any track it’s pointed at, BFGoodrich All-Terrains has been fitted. On the back he’s fitted an ARB Touring Rooftop tent with a matching 3x3m awning as well as an Ironman 4X4 127-litre long range fuel tank. To top it off he has fitted Custom Off-Road bash plates underneath as well as a dual-battery setup under the bonnet.
