BRADY’S GU PATROL
Brady's 2005 GU is a monster, set up to tackle anything this country can throw at it. The flex is courtesy of 3.0-inch Old Man Emu coils and 4.0-inch Rancho in-cab adjustable air shocks. To make sure it looked the part Brady fitted the GU with ARB bars all round; a Deluxe Winch Bar on the front with scrub bars down the side and a rear-mounted dual-wheel carrier bar at the back. Under the bonnet is the standard 3.0-litre oiler, only its running 20psi, but that hasn't satisfied Brady, and he's got plans to replace the engine with something, "more powerful". In the doubtful event, it does get stuck the GU is fitted with a WARN 12,000lb winch along with an ARB air compressor and front air locker to help him out. To put this monster machine to the test, Brady hits the tracks in the Strathbogie Ranges with his mates, but like all four-wheelers, Brady's dream is to take his GU to Cape York.

TOM’S ISUZU D-MAX
Tom has set up an ideal touring 4X4. The most noticeable modification is the canopy on the back, which Tom had made by Alloy Toolquip in Sydney. The D-Max runs 3-4 inch adjustable Bilsteins at the front, along with a diff drop. At the back, he has a 300kg constant 2.0-inch adjustable lift from Outback Armour. The 16-inch wheels are wrapped in 265/75R16 BFGoodrich KM2 mud-terrain tyres. Upfront is an ARB summit bull bar along with brush bars and side steps, with a Runva 11XP winch. Based in Newcastle, Tom likes to get away to the Watagans or Barrington Tops and has a Victorian High Country trip planned for the end of this year with a trip up to Cape York in the works for next year.

RICHARD’S 150 PRADO
Richard's 150 Prado has been set up for long-range outback touring. Richard started with ARB bar work and underbody protection. Then added a dual-battery system with a Redarc BCDC1225, along with a 160W solar panel to keep everything topped up. Even with its smart KDSS suspension, Richard fitted a 2.5-inch lift with MRR shocks from Dobinson along with Airbag Man airbags in the rear. The boot has a custom Drifta draw system, along with a drop slide for his 40L Engel. Because you can never have too much water, Richard had a 40-litre water tank built into the drawer system as well as another 30-litre Kaon water tank fitted underneath. This Prado is one well set up touring machine, having already driven Fraser Island, Stradbroke and some of the Flinders.

OLIVER’S 120 PRADO
A 120 Prado with a two-inch lift isn't that unusual; however, Oliver's setup has turned it up to 11. The suspension is impressive with a combination of Bilstein shocks and Dobinson springs, helping level out the Prado after all the modifications added weight. That weight has come in the form of ARB bull bar, bash plates as well as custom steel side steps and rear bar. The stock 3.9 diffs have been replaced with Nitro 4.1 diffs, and ARB air lockers have been fitted too. The 17-inch wheels are wrapped in Mickey Thompson 285/70R17 MTZ P3 rubber along with a 12,000lb Warn winch on the front for when the going gets too tough. Oliver has fitted a dual-battery system with solar to help power a fridge in the back. And, to make his rig the envy of others, he's installed a Helton hot water system. Oliver this Prado is beautifully set up, we hope to see you tackling some more of Cruiser Park in the future.
