The fine people at Coopers have done it again, releasing another beer and containing it in 4WD-friendly cans. When Coopers Pale Ale was released in cans, off-road enthusiasts throughout the country rejoiced, so Coopers have come to the party again. Their new brew, XPA, extra pale ale, is said to be released exclusively in cans and available across Australia by mid-August. Cam Pearce, Coopers Marketing and Innovation Director, explained this surprise decision: “The decision to only release XPA in cans reflects increasing consumer preference for this form of container”. We’re looking forward to testing out how the XPA tastes in cans and are putting our names forward as Coopers can taste testers – fingers crossed!

Price of the cans has not been announced yet, but check your local bottle shop come mid-August.

The trail oven is a fully aluminium box, which means even heat distribution, that mounts to the factory engine cover, so you can heat, or reheat your meals while still out exploring the tracks. 270 inches, or 685cm of heating space, Black Forest claims it is big enough to heat up to five burritos at once. With an easy 10-minute install, and easy removal for cleaning, this Trail Oven could give us a reason to buy a JK Wrangler, and no we’re not making any jokes about things catching on fire. Take the high road people…

We’ve recently told you about the Redarc SmartCharge battery chargers, but Redarc have taken things further by providing a charging kit. The kit includes a charging cable that you can permanently mount to your battery using ring terminals and then easily plug and unplug the charger to it. This saves you time and means you won’t be caught out of charge. Included in the cable is an inbuilt status indicator that shows you the level of your battery through a red, yellow, or green light. The cable can also be used to charge or power other devices such as phones, speakers or even fridges.
