We’re not much for using terms like ‘epic’, however when Warn decided to put it in the name of a product we had to investigate. The Warn Epic Sidewinder is a beautiful-looking piece of kit for your winch. Warn states that it will replace your winch’s hook and shackle, providing a faster and easier recovery. The Epic Sidewinder is forged from billet aluminium with the pin made from forged steel, and Warn even provide a spacer to prevent damage when you’re not using it, which hopefully is more often than not. Warn state it’s compatible for winches up to 18,000lb with a minimum ultimate breaking strength of 64,000lb.

The days of needing to pull out your old pump bottle from the back of the shed are over, with Nulon releasing a clever alternative. Servicing your diffs or transmission are the types of jobs that get left till later because you know it’s going to be tricky. Bench space while camping is at a premium. You can only carry so many tables and stands but need space for preparing food, somewhere to put the cooker, and plating up. The team at Drifta have brought out the Snow Peak IGT 3 Kit, which could be the solution to your problems! Included in the kit is an Iron Grill Table, which you can fit a countless array of options, such as a BBQ Box and a chopping board. Along with the Iron Grill Table it also includes an extension bench and corner table plus the seven legs to keep it upright. The legs that come with the kit are at what Drifta calls ‘standing height’ at 830mm, however there are two other leg height options that you can get separately. When Bushranger released their Night Hawk 9” LED Driving lights we got our hands on a pair and subsequently were big fans – check out our review here. Having a dimmer switch with seven settings was a big plus, and we found the lights to be extremely bright, so when it was announced Bushranger were moving this technology into a light bar, we were excited. Along with the LED technology carried over from the driving lights, the Night Hawk Light Bar’s lightweight low-profile design as well as adjustable sliding mounting feet means you have freedom when it comes to where to mount it.

Fire One has released their First Response Extinguisher to replace the traditional bulky extinguisher. The First Response Extinguisher is only 242mm long, 54mm in diameter and lightweight at 500g, saving you space, while its cylindrical design means easier storage. Fire One claim it’s the world’s smallest extinguisher and can be used for solid, liquid, oil, gas and even electrical fires. TJM’s new Mod X Drawers means the back of your 4X4 no longer needs to look like a war zone, and for once you’ll actually know where everything is. Rated at 150kg for each drawer, the flush design of the Mod X Drawers are claimed to give you up five percent more usable storage space compared to other drawer systems on the market. Already available for 10 vehicles with more on the way, with a galvanised steel frame and hard-wearing features with UV and water-resistant materials, the Mod X Drawers come with a two-year warranty.

Prices will vary due to different vehicle specifications but TJM say that the twin drawer system will be starting at under $2000 (excluding fitment).

When we first saw the new MR Triton’s front end we were unsure how aftermarket manufacturers would be able to create a bull bar to fit the ‘creative’ styling choices (see our review in this issue). ARB has released their attempt with the Summit Bull Bar and to our eyes they’ve done a pretty good job. The bar is airbag compatible and has twin Hi-Lift jack points as well as space to accommodate a winch up to 10,000lb and driving lights. The bar also has provision for two aerial brackets on top of the tubing and an ARB Fog light kit.
